This map plots the current route — starting and finishing at Voortrekker Park and covering 13 km of Riebeek-Kasteel's public roads, traced and measured on Strava. Final field confirmation (surface notes, crossings, signage) is still to come, so treat turn-by-turn details as provisional until that check is complete.

Sourced from Strava The map and GPX above are traced directly from Strava, starting and finishing at Voortrekker Park and covering 13 km with 189 m of elevation gain. Strava is the single source of truth for this route — any future changes will be made there first and then reflected here. A final on-the-ground check (surface conditions, crossings, signage) is still pending before every turn note is locked in.
Self-guided and unsupported Run The Village is not a formally supported road race. There are no marshals, road closures, medical teams or guaranteed water points along the route. Participants are responsible for their own navigation, hydration, safety and fitness. See our Terms & Safety Disclaimer before you start.
